For PS1, Sega CD, and PC Engine CD, raw BIN/CUE files take up massive space. High-end MiSTer Rom Packs use (Compressed Hunks of Data). This lossless compression format saves 30-50% of space without impacting performance, which is critical since the MiSTer reads the entire disc image into RAM.
