Through a qualitative analysis of 50 viral videos across TikTok and Instagram, this paper argues that the act of pressing—using hands, irons, or heavy objects—serves as a metaphor for reclaiming agency over disposable fast fashion. The “repack” signifies a deliberate archiving of style against the ephemeral nature of trend cycles.
